About Us

Kerry Lynn Care Ltd is an independent children’s home provider based in the North East for children and young people aged 11 – 17 years old.

We provide care to children who have suffered trauma and abuse, and we provide a nurturing therapeutic environment to help them recover from their early childhood experiences.

We offer high levels of supervision with approaches that are designed to engage young people in their care.

Kerry has over twenty years’ experience in various residential settings. Her experience includes management roles, overseeing children’s homes, offender units and working with domestic violence, with varying client groups. She has in-depth knowledge of Children’s Home Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Requirements, its application and delivery. She is very child centred and enthusiastic about ensuring the best possible outcomes for young people.

Kerry is experienced in providing guidance, leadership, and regular supervision. In addition to the above, she is a CPI certified instructor and she has a background in Law.

Kerry also holds a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People’s Services, she holds a certificate in Leadership & Management, Responsible Individual trained, Designated Safeguarding Officer trained, trained in Drug and Alcohol misuse, and currently enrolled on a master’s degree in health and social care.

Kerry has also successfully passed the Level 5 core Probation modules and holds a B.A. Honours Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies. Kerry works on the core of Social Learning Theory which maintains that children learn through a process of imitation.

Kerry has a 10-year-old son and enjoys spending time with him outside of work. She founded KerryLynnCare Ltd in 2020 where she serves as its Responsible Individual.
